You have to climb to the Yongsan viewpoint to see the S-shaped channel from the photos. Allow an hour and a half round trip.
Naganeupseong Folk Village
낙안읍성
A Joseon-era walled town where people still live.

You can step inside the thatched houses. Walk the wall once around and the whole village lies below you.
Insider's note
Yeosu and Suncheon are forty minutes apart, so one day each fits well. You cannot really catch the Suncheon sunset and the Yeosu night sea on the same evening, though — pick one.
