hikoreago is a free travel information site. We keep it free through affiliate programs run by travel companies and affiliate networks, including Booking.com and the networks that operate its partner program (such as Awin and CJ Affiliate).

When you click an accommodation, tour, or travel link, a cookie may be placed in your browser recording that the visit came from hikoreago. If you then complete a booking on the provider’s own website, they pay us a share of their commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as going to that site directly.

• We do not take payment for a positive review or a higher ranking. Listings come from Korea Tourism Organization open data and our own research.

Affiliate links are marked in the page — for example with an “affiliate link” note or a disclosure line near the booking button — and carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute as required by search engine guidelines.

Our recommendations are based on what is genuinely useful for someone travelling in Korea: location, practicality, seasonality, and the quality of the underlying tourism data. A property paying a higher commission does not get a better placement, and we say plainly when we think something is not worth it.
