Nari Basin

Two hours each way from Ulleungdo. If landing is called off the boat circles the island and turns back, so set your expectations accordingly.
Insider's note
When the swell is up, the ferry simply does not sail — build a spare day into the round trip. And even when the boat reaches Dokdo, landing depends on conditions: roughly half of visits never step ashore.
