  2. N Seoul Tower

    N서울타워

The tower on Namsan that shows you how far Seoul actually goes.

    Must do

  5. Han River Park

    한강공원

How Seoul actually relaxes: sitting by the river with chicken and ramyeon.

    Must do

Use the instant-ramyeon machine at the park convenience store. You can rent or buy a picnic mat there too.

  6. Lotte World

    롯데월드

A theme park in the middle of the city, half of it indoors.

    Must do

The indoor half means rain is not a reason to skip it. Buy a Magic Pass in advance and the queues for the big rides shrink.

Insider's note

If you will ride the subway more than twice a day, buy a T-money card at any convenience store first. The card costs 4,000 won, works on subways, buses and most taxis, and applies transfer discounts automatically. You can cash out the balance at a convenience store before you leave.
